Fall Fashion Trends And Tips

As the sizzling hot and stylish summer is unwinding and the weather is cooling, its now time to update your look and style to be more fashionable and trendy this fall 2008. Fall fashion trends always run towards stylish sweaters and scarves. It was also pretty much about retro-style fashion. Dress yourself up in chunky shoes and wide belts, and you're a fashion diva this season. Accessories are pretty much in demand this season. You can pump up your look with fashion neclace, oversized handbags, bangles and other jewelry which can complement your overall look this fall 2008.

Here I listed down some guide about the latest fashion trend this season.

1. The Color of Fall

Grey and Black is the ultimate comfort color of the season. Blend it with a red accent is perfect for it. You can also pair grey with cobalt, and other colors such as purple, yellow or green, and even black. It’s lovely to create a POP of color in accessories, such as a handbag, shoes or gloves.

2. Dont Forget Your Handbags!

Naturally, we can't forget one of our favorite accessories. Handbags! A handbag is the ultimate accessory to complete your outfit and adorn your uniqueness. Oversized bags in patent leather, pebble-grain leather, clear plastic is what in style this season. But you can also wear medium-size envelope bag or a clutch in metallics or shiny satin.

3. The Makeup

The makeup industry very closely mirrors the trends of the fashion industry. The color palettes this fall are golds, peaches and plums. As with anything in color, remember to choose colors that are right for your skin tone.

4. Fashionable Footware

Shoes and dress boots this fall come in a variety of styles. Round toe flats come in a variety of colors. A pair of black dress flats may come with a grey or red bow embellished with jewels. Shoes may be patterned in plaid, plain or colored, patent leather, hounds tooth, or maybe polka dot. Red stilettos may have a black strap, buckle or silver button ornamentation. Purple is a popular fashion color for multi strapped pumps this year. Colorful knee high dress boots adorn the models this fall. The high heeled cuffed bootine and comfortable belted leather boots for dressier occasions are all the rage.

In generally speaking, fashion this fall and winter is full of bright, vibrant accessories paired with the classic colors of grey and black clothing styles of past years. It is a great time to blend the old with the new to create a look to suit your own personality and sense of style. Enjoy!

Spring Fashion Trends

spring fashion image2008 spring fashion breathes life into a sombre world. The fantasy world of fashion provides us with some respite. Fashion runways burst into color. The look this season is breezy. Cheerful. An escape from the dreary world outside.

Here are a list of new and latest spring fashion trends this 2008

1. Prints

With the arrival spring, an array of mind-boggling prints prevail. From solid graphic color-block styles to an flurry of tiny colorful graphic shapes. Psychedelic prints to simple blocks of color are among the hot looks this season.

Florals too bloom everywhere. On skirts, dresses and even tops. For women and even the men, where resortwear is concerned.

Then there are the animal prints. Though not as prevalent as graphic prints and florals, animal prints are back, giving primal appeal to accessories as well as tops and dresses.

2. Color

Spring brings more than candy-colored brights. Colors in general are breezier. White, gray and taupe, tan and khaki have taken over as the neutral shades of the season. Colors may be muted or bright as in canary yellow, red, pink, lime green and every color under the sun. The rule is if it looks great on you, no matter how bright it might be, wear it.

3. Pregnancy Inspired Clothing

This isn't a style I particularly like but on a slender figure, if the material is luxurious enough, it can look good. Loose, comfortable dresses in silky fabrics seem to the thing to wear this season. Thankfully, belts are allowed, so if that loose dress makes you look fat, belt it with a wide belt. The difference can be amazing.

4. Sugar and Spice and All Girly Things

Spring brings out the Lolita look. Grown women dress like little girls with ruffles, frills and tiers which instead of looking ridiculous, when done right, look ultra-feminine.

Ruffles are everywhere. Along the neckline, which can provide a boost up there for women with smaller bustlines. Tiered skirts with ruffles from hips down are very flattering for women with narrow hips, giving them the illusion of curvier hips. The trick is to use frills, ruffles and tiers to fill out the curves you wish you had.

Always remember to update your look every time new season will arrive. Dont be afraid to try new things and always wear clothes that fit to your body. Help it helps. Enjoy!

Spring Fashion Tips

Finally spring has arrived, my favorite season of the year. Though it may still be chilly outside, spring fashion is heating up. From futuristic and edgy, to romantic and flowy, here’s a glimpse of the hottest trends of the season.

Tip #1: Yes To Light, Forget The Dark
Nobody wants to see you in dark and dreary clothing at the start of Spring! Put away your blacks and dark blues, and take out your whites, reds, pinks, and yellows.Be careful with this one as some complexions are not cut out for stark white. If you are nearing middle age, try using white in your accessories instead of brilliant white jackets or skirts. Everyone should be cautious about what we call Minnie Mouse shoes and please don't break out the white pants, skirts and shoes until after Memorial Day. I don't care what anyone says. Some rules are not meant to be broken.

Tip #2: Put away Those Pants and Go For Skirts and Dresses
You don't have to wear boring jeans every day. Instead, buy some colorful skirts and dresses to brighten your Spring Wardrobe. If you hate wearing anything you can't run around in, find some colorful slacks that look nice.

Tip #3: Show Your Happy Feet
Spring is the time to show your toes. Get yourself a pedicure and then go somewhere affordable like Target or Nordstrom's Rack to look for great shoe deals. Buy a nice array of heels and flats in a variety of colors and styles. Remember, don't buy a pair of shoes just because they are pretty, buy a pair of shoes because they fit nicely and are comfortable enough to walk in.

Tip #4: Blouses are back
After years of being out of the spotlight, blouses are at the front of the fashion parade this spring. Try anything ultra-feminine such as lace, sheer or linen. The best way to update your suit for the office is to add a ruffled blouse for high impact.

Tip #5: Accessories On The Go
Chunky necklaces are still in this season as well. Look also for shell pendants, necklaces, earrings and bangle bracelets in both soft shades of natural white and pink and vibrant tones of green, yellow and turquoise. Wood jewelry in deep, dark brown accented with gold metal for a clean, modern look will add drama to summer brights.

Remember no matter what styles you choose, you should always make sure you have other pieces (we recommend three) already in your wardrobe with which to coordinate. Also, be cognizant of the styles and how they look on someone of your age. Always be aware of shape and color and how it relates to your body. Just because they make it in your size does not mean you should wear it. Now enjoy the spring weather and flowers and have fun accessorizing your wardrobe.

More Women's Hairstyle Trends for Spring and Summer This 2008

celebrity hairstyle trends imageIf you're ready for a Spring makeover in 2008, be prepared for some celebrity-inspired styles and unique updos to tame those tresses. Fashion Week put the spotlight on the some great looks for the season, with super-long lengths and pixie-style bobs leading the runway. No matter how long or short your hair may be after winter, you can look forward to layers, razor cut bobs, and blunt bangs to freshen up for the season. Here are the top women's hairstyle trends for Spring 2008:

Long and Curly
If you've been considering a perm these past few seasons, Spring 2008 is to jump in and go for it. Supermodels at the Calvin Klein presentation sported some curly ringlets in golden blonde and brunette colors. Medium-sized, tight curls are one of the leading looks of the season, and the extra-long length makes it super versatile.

Blunt Bangs
Blunt bangs are especially flattering for round and square face shapes, and can help balance out high cheekbones. Go for blunt bangs cut just over the eyebrow level for a modern, sophisticated look. These can easily be swept to the side if you decide to change up the style at a moment's notice.

Sculpted Bob
The bob continues to be a top trend this season, but the year calls for a soft and romantic version instead of the super-blunt cuts of Fall 2007. Soften up the look with large curlers or a curling iron, and go for a side part that covers the forehead.

Twisted Updos
The season's updo trends center around super-sculpted buns and twists; go for a sophisticated French twist by piling hair high up on the head and creating a 'knot'. The look was carried off perfectly by Gwen Stefani for the L.A.M.B. presentation at Fashion Week, and it's a great choice for warmer days.

Half Ponytails
Go for a teased side ponytail for a sophisticated and romantic look for Spring. It's the season for romance and the ponytail continues to be a super-feminine option for medium and longer lengths. Make it sleek and sophisticated with a flat iron, or where it loose with a natural wave.

Razor Cut Bob
The razor cut bob is the opposite of the sculpted version, and continues to be a top trend this year, except in a longer length. Instead of ending at the chin, the longest layer can now drop to the shoulders. Extreme side parts and zig-zag effects are great ways to pull of this look.

Finish off updos or dress up a simple bob with a few glittery hair picks and beaded accessories for a romantic touch; Spring 2008 trends are flirty, playful, and youthful. Are you ready for your spring hair makeover?

More Summer Hairstyles For Men and Woman

celebrity hairstyle imagesSpring is knocking on our doors, but the summer time isn't far as well. So today we will present Summer 2008 trendy hairstyles.

Angled Bob Hairstyle
One of the trendiest looks for 2008 summer hairstyles is probably the angled bob hairstyle. Why is that so? Because many trend setters such as Victoria Beckham, Rihanna and many others have the same type of haircut. And there is one more thing that's cool with "angled bob", it can be sculpted and angled in any desired way and which is great because you have more options to choose from. The most popular angled bob hairstyle will probably be the classic shaped bob, that’s longer in the front and frames around your face shape.
